A new season often brings with it the impulse to shop. But, be truthful: do you really need that new autumn coat? It’s more than likely that the need for newness is coming from something other than necessity itself.
The Worn Out Project’s Pre-Loved Pop-Up shop could be exactly the halfway house you need. Transforming vintage cast-offs into complete one-offs, their debut pop-up shop is being hosted in the King’s Road Anthropologie store on 17 October.
Come along as the label attempts to challenge attitudes to fast fashion by giving pre-loved pieces a new lease of life. The evening, which runs from 6-8pm, is the perfect opportunity to rethink your shopping habits and update your wardrobe with something totally unique. Scratch that new-season itch while knowing you’re doing your bit to embrace a more sustainable way of shopping.
To RSVP to the launch party on the 17 October, please email community@anthropologie.eu. If you can’t make it, the pop-up will be at the King’s Road gallery until 10th November.
Thursday 17 October, 6-8pm, Anthropologie, 131-141 King’s Rd, Chelsea, London SW3 4PW
