There’s a new restaurant in town and you’re going to love it – Meat the Fish, the new Mediter-Asian concept to have landed at 39 Cadogan Gardens, a quintessential Chelsea townhouse where floor to ceiling windows flood the restaurant with natural light.
Open for breakfast, morning coffees and long lunches, right through to dinner and late-night cocktails, the menu showcases the best of salads, seafood and exceptional sandwiches, with ingredients sourced from the finest suppliers, including vegetables from Pavilion Road’s own Natoora. The breakfast menu is split into groups; ‘Organic Farm Eggs’, ‘Something Sweet’ and Something Savoury’, with highlights including ‘Green Asparagus & Eggs‘, a Salmon Bagel (with salmon in abundance) and Miso Egg Salad Sandwich, alongside fresh juices, energising smoothies and All Press coffee. The lunch and dinner menu is also split, with sections of ‘Raw’, ‘Salads’, ‘Sandwiches’, ‘Bowls,’ ‘Mains’, and ‘To Share’. In addition to oysters, sashimi, tartare and carpaccio’s of the day, signature dishes include ‘Black Prawn Bao‘, ‘Miso Aubergine‘, and ‘Beef Carnitas Tacos‘. For those with a sweet tooth, Salted Chocolate Crisps with Olive Oil Ice Cream are a must.
An enormous sculptural bar greets on you on arrival – inspired by the cross section of a crab – surrounded by velvet and rattan bar stools that are perfect for dining or drinking alike. Signature cocktails are sure to entice, and a delightful bar menu of delicious nibbles features Nori Burrata, Padron Peppers, Katsu Sando and Crab Rolls amongst others.
