Duke of York Square

Free Admission
Chelsea Art Market returns to Duke of York Square this spring, presented in partnership with Open Art Spaces.
The square will transform into a lively, open‑air marketplace, celebrating independent artists, contemporary creativity and art made to be discovered, enjoyed and collected.
Visitors can explore a thoughtfully curated selection of works, from gallery‑style pieces to accessible designs created with everyday living in mind. The works range from £5 to £500, making it an inclusive space for both first-time buyers and seasoned collectors. Highlights include pieces inspired by local landmarks and treasured pubs from Ana Gallego and Grace Davies; striking photography from West London’s Sion Sylvester and tongue-in-cheek prints from The Misfortuneteller.
Expect a day of discovery and creativity, with artist’s stalls to browse and a packed programme of free creative workshops and live music, reflecting the area’s rich cultural
heritage and long-standing connection to the arts. Workshops include collage sessions led by artist Polina Belenchuk and print-making from the Saatchi Gallery, which overlooks the Market. DJ sets from local record store and bar New Forms alongside live music pop-ups from hand-picked musicians will keep the energy flowing throughout the day.
Founded in 2022, Open Art Market has championed hundreds of grassroots artists — many showcasing their work publicly for the first time — helping to take art beyond traditional gallery walls and into shared public spaces. The Chelsea Art Market builds on this mission, reflecting the area’s long‑standing cultural heritage while highlighting the creative energy that defines Duke of York Square today.
