Half-term is upon us. Whilst you baffle over how fast this term has gone, we’ve done the hard work for you and rounded up the best of half-term activity in Chelsea. Here’s a little inspiration for each day of the week.

• Follow an elephant trail

Discover the herd of 50 life-sized elephant sculptures roaming the great plains of Chelsea. Your little ones will be in awe as they come across these majestic creatures modelled on real creatures from Southern India. • Visit the V&A’s latest exhibition followed by a spot of shopping

Tumble down the rabbit hole for a day exploring the global phenomenon that is Alice in Wonderland at the V&A’s latest exhibition, Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser. Treat your aspiring Alice to something sparkly from Les Nereides afterwards and shop their ‘Alice’s Dream’ collection. Find out more here.

• Treat them to afternoon tea at Peggy Porschen

Spend an afternoon in the world of Peggy Porschen and indulge any sweet tooth with a Tea Party. The ‘Petite Porschen’ menu, created in collaboration with Olivia Burton, is suitable for children aged 12 years and under, and includes a selection of sandwiches (imagine your childhood favourites, ham and cheese as well as strawberry jam), scones and one their beautiful cupcakes for just £18 per child. • Spend the day at home with Trotters

Trotters want to fill this half-term with wonderful memories. Download colouring sheets, scavenger hunts, memory card games and delicious recipes for the family to get stuck in to, perfect for both rain and sunshine! Download yours here.

• Book Play Base at the National Army Museum

Tire your tots out with an immersive day at Play Base (suitable for under 8s). For aspiring soldiers, the (soft) assault course, command liaison vehicle, cook house and quartermaster store will teach them all the skills they need for life in the field. • Get them out with nature

Get stuck into a series of nature activities created by the Chelsea Physic Garden, suitable for children between 3 and 11. Get creative and learn how to make a flower crown or even a hotel for their favourite bugs with these downloadable resources here.

• Catch a film in the cinema 

Everyman Chelsea has opened its doors and this means movie time. From Tom & Jerry and Peter Rabbit 2 for the littler ones to Cruella for those a bit older, there’s something suitable for all.
