Now we’ve got the all-clear on holidays closer to home this year, a new outfit (or three) is definitely in order for a UK trip. For staycation style the King’s Road way, we’ll be heading to these boutiques and stores for our summer fashion fix.
Dreamy prints at RIXO
RIXO’s dreamy midi dresses in wallpaper florals are destined for relaxed meanderings at markets up and down the UK. Pool included with your accommodation? Maybe a dip in the sea is on the cards if you’ve gone for a coastal getaway. Add a bikini or one-piece from their striking swimwear collection to feel as stylish by the water as you do on dry land. In-store pick up and browsing is available now.

Perfect plimsolls at Superga
Reopening in July, Superga at 57 King’s Road is the perfect pitstop to pick up a pair of fresh plimsolls, ahead of all those weekend wanders. Keep it traditional and pair their canvas ‘Cotu‘ in white or neutral shades with a midi dress, or classic chinos. Alternatively, if you’re after something bolder, there are plenty of brighter styles to make a statement.

Bluemint swimwear for you and your mini-me
Stock up on swimwear at Bluemint ahead of a coastal trip. Their current Father & Son collection provides plenty of options for mini-me looks. There are huge number of original prints on offer – we particularly like their Colourful Octopus swim shorts. Photo opportunities abound!

Bejewel yourself at Astrid & Miyu
Known as the most Instagrammable spot in town, Astrid & Miyu is the cool-girl go-to for curated earrings, hoops, cuffs and other jewellery. Head into store and browse their summer collection – the A&M King’s Road boutique is already open. In line with government health and safety advice, stores are open only for jewellery sales. Piercing, tattoos, welding & engraving services are not currently available.
