With the wonderful news that hairdressers will be opening from 4 July, we’ve rounded up the best of Chelsea’s salons (and got the lowdown on the waiting lists)! Good hair day, this way…
Hari’s and its army of expert hairdressers will be working at 50% capacity in the salon, with longer appointments to ensure safety stays a priority. Each client will also receive a HARI’s Care Kit which includes a disposable mask and gloves, to ensure everyone feels as safe as possible. Follow them at @harishair on Instagram to stay up to date on the latest and safety bookings information.

Although Richard Ward’s salon in Duke of York Square is very much open as of Saturday 4 July, it now has an extensive waiting list. If you’re one of the lucky ones to have secured a spot at the award-winning royal and celebrity hair salon, lucky you! You’re in for a treat, with a new ‘do and double loyalty points to boot. If not, and your locks simply can’t wait any longer for a trim and restyle, there are plenty of other salons on our list that may have a spare appointment.

This gorgeous salon on Pavilion Road is now welcoming customers, both old and new, for a post-lockdown ‘do. Talking to the BBC News earlier this month, co-founder Belle Cannan said she and the team were itching to reopen and greet their regulars. “[The 1m reduction in social distancing] means we will be able to work at about 75% capacity, rather than 50%,” she said. While safety is still a concern, clients will be asked to wear face masks, and stylists will be wearing visors. Hand-sanitising stations have also been added to the salon, with the reception screen off.
