Welcome to Narnia

Free Admission

The Ivy Chelsea Garden is known as much for its exquisite exterior displays – from abundant florals to foliage – as it is for its eclectically decorated dining space and delicious all-day menus. This Christmas, they’ve lived up to expectations with their stunning Narnia themed decorations, which are currently festooning the front of its King’s Road façade.

Step through the magical wardrobe set within the enchanting, frozen forest, which is complete with the Snow Queen’s Throne and the Snow Queen’s Garden before taking a seat to dine this December. Children and adults alike will be utterly enchanted by the fantastical surroundings, as CS Lewis’ famous land of Narnia is brought to life.

To accompany the fantastical decorations, the bar menu has also had a Narnia-inspired makeover. The talented mixology team have created a collection of tempting tipples which all draw on iconic moments from the iconic children’s book. Remember the moment the Snow Queen offers Edmund Turkish Delight to eat and he spills his secrets to her, bewitched by the deliciousness of this Victorian delicacy? Relive it with their Eastern Promise cocktail, which features Crème de Violette, Bramble gin liqueur, Beefeater gin and lemon juice, garnished with Edmund’s Turkish Delight and chocolate flakes. If you fancy a hearty winter warmer, the Narnia Negroni is a delicious option, combining Sloe Gin, Martini Rubino, Campari and cinnamon.

A trip to Narnia would not be complete without a trip to see Mr Tumnus. Dine with the Ivy Chelsea Garden for a festive brunch or lunch on the 7th and 21st of December between 12pm and 3pm to meet the famous faun himself.

Discover Narnia and join the Ivy Chelsea Garden for breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch or dinner from now until the end of the year. Booking recommended.
