Americans have been associated with Chelsea for centuries. This walking tour traces Americans and their connections to the neighbourhood, which remain forever linked in how they lived, died and continue to be associated with the area.
From the Royal Hospital Chelsea to homes of American and American/British citizens to their final burial places, cone along on this walk as you uncover the hybrid existences of Americans in Chelsea.
Includes stops at: Royal Hospital Chelsea, Chelsea Physic Garden, Chelsea Old Church, St Mary’s Church of Battersea.
This walk will start at the National Army Museum and last approximately 2 hours.
