In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of VE Day, the King’s Road, Duke of York Square, Sloane Square and Pavilion Road have been adorned in Union Jack Bunting, and across the Bank Holiday weekend, a series of celebrations can be enjoyed as part of Summer in Sloane Square.

Monday, 5 May

Chelsea is also a brilliant spot to catch the military flypast which will take place on Monday, 5 May 2025. Set to pass over Buckingham Palace from 1.45pm, make sure to secure your spot al fresco to watch the series of WWII planes, a Voyager transport aircraft, a P8 Poseidon surveillance aircraft, Typhoon, F-35 fighter jets, and of course, the famous Red Arrows, take to the skies.
