Thanksgiving 2024

Thursday, 28 November 2024 – Thursday, 28 November 2024
Free Admission

If you’re celebrating this cherished family holiday on 28 November, we’ve rounded up the best Thanksgiving feasts on and around the King’s Road to enjoy with your loved ones.

The Cadogan Arms

Hosting a traditional celebration, The Cadogan Arms is offering three delicious courses served family style to share. There’s no cutting corners here as for £85pp, starters comprise a selection of canapes including short rib croquettes with ancho BBQ sauce, and cheddar popovers with jalapeno menu, whilst for main course, a roast turkey crown comes with all the trimmings such as baked sweet potatoes and marshmallows and a green bean casserole. If there’s space for pudding, you’ll have a tough time choosing between pecan pie or oreo cheesecake. Perhaps just order both.

Bluebird

This menu is no small-scale affair and gives you the perfect excuse to step away from the kitchen. Start with fried chicken and biscuits, topped with sausage gravy, before devouring a traditional turkey turkey and endless trimmings. And for the bourbon-fans amongst us, dessert is a Bourbon-soaked drunken monkey bread with pecan caramel and vanilla ice cream. For three courses (and stacks of jalapeno bread!), the menu costs £45pp.

Rabbit & The Pig’s Ear

When the Gladwin brothers have control of the celebration, you know your in for a treat and the trio of specials at both Rabbit and their newest opening, The Pig’s Ear, make for charming options to enjoy this Thanksgiving. Choose from – or enjoy all three – a sweetcorn and brown crab chowder with Gladwin chorizo, a Yorkshire turkey parmo with hispi cabbage slaw and, for dessert, a pumpkin tart topped with a witch’s marshmallow hat. There is also a duo of special wines to enjoy, fresh from across the pond. We’ve got our eyes on the Smoking Loon red from Napa Valley.
