Summer in the Square

Summer in the Square

Sloane Square
Saturday, 7 May 2022 – Friday, 30 September 2022
Free Admission

Sloane Square is to become London’s hottest al fresco dining destination this summer and you have to be there.

A community collaboration between the Royal Court Theatre, The Botanist and Côte offers open-air seating, delicious food and champagne sundowners surrounded by colourful bunting and twinkling festoon lights on Chelsea’s most famous Square, following a successful trial in 2021.

The Royal Court Theatre returns with ‘Court in the Square’, serving a summer menu featuring burgers, fresh salads, flatbreads and smaller sharing plates to accompany their speciality drinks offering. Sip on (iced) coffees, teas, juices and soft drinks throughout the summer, as well as draught and craft beer, cocktails and sustainable wines. Complimentary WiFi is also available and all proceeds go to support new writing at the Royal Court.

The Botanist has created a Mediterranean escape in the heart of the city for all to enjoy. Partnering with Vaporetto and Chase, guests can enjoy a true taste of Naples this summer. Indulge in artisanal wood-fired Neapolitan pizza accompanied by a curated menu of gin and vodka summer cocktails from award-winning Herefordshire-based distillery, Chase, for delicious summer-sipping.

Chic French restuarant, Côte have partnered with Laurent Perrier to offer guests a menu of crisp Provencal Rose, expertly mixed Laurent Perrier NV champagne cocktails such as the French 75, or a selection of timeless cocktails with a twist, including Pamplemousse Spritz, a summer classic, as well as a comprehensive list of chilled roses and crisp whites. French-inspired dishes on the menu include Croque Monsieur and Côte’s popular Sharing Board, featuring cured meats such as truffle saucisson sec and Coppa del sec, alongside a creamy baked French Camembert with a crispy herb breadcrumb.

Summer in the Square will be open from 6 May through to October, from midday to 11pm with last orders at 10.30pm and will be open daily for all to enjoy, aside from the following exemptions: 11 May, 18 May, 19 May and 29-30 May when it will be closed.
