The Saatchi Gallery will honour the most iconic creations from Cartier in a new portrait exhibition this summer: Studio 7.
Running from 23 July to 8 August 2021, the free exhibition celebrates the Maison’s seven most cult creations across watches and jewellery: Santos, Tank, Trinity, Love, Just Un Clou, Panthère and Ballon Bleu, through a series of photography.
In Gallery 1, LEGENDS creates a sense of nostalgia, with black-and-white photos of world-famous celebrities wearing Cartier’s famous designs. From Andy Warhol with his Tank watch, Jean Cocteau and his Trinity ring to Tina Turner and her Love bracelet, each image showcases the Maison’s impact on culture through the decades.
Across the floor, step into a second gallery projecting a series of black and white portraits by renowned British photographer Mary McCartney from floor to ceiling. The result is a truly immersive experience, as the likes of Vanessa Kirby in her Just Un Clou bracelet and boxer Ramla Ali in her Panthère watch are captured as modern-day muses of the house of Cartier.
Finally, head to the custom-built photography studio in Gallery 3, where Cartier lovers can be photographed wearing their favourite Cartier pieces.
Pre booking is required and available from 10am, 5 July 2021.
