If getting dressed for work is often the most stressful part of your day, a trip to Cefinn’s King’s Road pop-up needs to be in your calendar.
The women’s fashion label was founded by Samantha Cameron in 2017, after she spotted a gap in the market for functional, fashionable and feminine clothes.
Fabric is key to the brand’s ethos, so the story of every piece begins with the material it’s made from. Every dress, top or shirt is made to be as at home in the boardroom as at the school gates.
The core collection is made from Cefinn’s signature Techni Voile fabric. Throw it in the washing machine, hang it to dry and then throw it back on again the next day. No stress, no ironing and definitely no dry cleaning.
Described as a brand “full of those useful pieces that are surprisingly hard to find” by The Daily Telegraph’s Fashion Director, Lisa Armstrong, their pop-up store is well worth checking out. Head to 150 King’s Road and get a feel for the fabrics yourself to see what makes them so special – the previous Duke of York Square pop-up was hugely popular.
You might just find a new wardrobe there.
