British Art Fair 2019

British Art Fair 2019

Saatchi Gallery, London SW3 4RY
Thursday, 3 October 2019 – Sunday, 6 October 2019
Tickets: £7.50 — £20

Henry Moore, David Hockney, Barbara Hepworth, Damien Hirst. It’s an impressive roll call. And it’s just some of the seminal artists from the 20th and 21st Century who will be represented at the Saatchi Gallery’s second British Art Fair.

For over 30 years, the British Art Fair has brought together a group of premier talents in the art world, covering the most important movements of the past century. But this is only the second year where the Saatchi has been its host. A major influence on art in Britain since its opening, the gallery and its stunning setting in Duke of York Square proved the perfect backdrop for the fair – the only one in the world dedicated solely to British art.

The year, from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 October, you will find over fifty leading dealers exhibiting paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures representing the most important artistic movements of the past 100 years. Whether you’ve an interest in the early modernists or have a passion for contemporary street art, you’ll find something to covet in the carefully curated selection.

In addition, a series of special exhibitions showcase young British artists. Alan Wheatley’s major retrospective of works by Scottish abstract painter Alan Davie is in excellent company with Spectator art critic Andrew Lambeth’s curation of David Inshaw’s works.

British Art Fair, Saatchi Gallery, Thursday 3 – Sunday 6 October 2019. Purchase your tickets here.
