The festive season is upon us and this year, we are more excited than ever for the sweep of Christmas parties, celebrations with loved ones and a touch of extra sparkle. Join us on Saturday, 20 November for an afternoon that marks the start of the most magical time of year as Santa switches on Chelsea’s Christmas lights.

From 2pm, enjoy entertainment for all the family on stage on the King’s Road, part-pedestrianised for the very first time, and roaming performances across the neighbourhood. Perhaps you might want to grab a bite to eat at the Christmas edition of the Fine Food Market at Duke of York Square, or maybe you will want to visit Rudolph and his reindeer comrades instead? You will be able to catch them on the Running Track opposite the Saatchi. There will be face painting for the little ones and truly wonderful atmosphere for you and your family to enjoy before Father Christmas and his special helper switch on the lights at 5pm when the neighbourhood will come alive – dazzling beneath swathes of beautiful lights and culminating with a spectacular fireworks display.
