This July, Chelsea Theatre is bringing a little of the Edinburgh Fringe to west London with a week of exclusive preview performances, giving audiences the chance to see brand-new comedy and theatre before it heads to Scotland.
The season features Palestinian actor and comedian Alaa Shehada, whose new show The Bridge follows his Scotsman Fringe First-winning sell-out The Horse of Jenin, alongside a special double-bill of work-in-progress comedy from Mark Simmons, the ‘master of one-liners’, and People Just Do Nothing star Tiff Stevenson, as they test out brand-new material ahead of the Fringe.
Audiences can also catch Love (5 Ways), a bold, funny and thought-provoking new play exploring intimacy, relationships and love in all their complexity.
From award-winning performers and established comedians to exciting new writing, Chelsea Theatre’s intimate auditorium offers the perfect opportunity to discover tomorrow’s Fringe favourites before they head north.
