Say hello to Arthur’s Market, the King’s Road’s brand new foodie playground. Part premium grocery, part eclectic dining spot, it’s made for anyone who loves great food, whether you’re dashing in for a coffee or settling in for a long, indulgent lunch or dinner.
The market is a treasure trove of culinary goodies: think freshly brewed coffees, artisan sandwiches, crisp salads, and premium groceries. From artisanal cheeses and seasonal fruit to indulgent dairy and rare Japanese delicacies, there’s something to elevate every meal. The fishmonger is a showstopper, stocking everything from classic fresh fish to whole Spanish tuna, carabineros, blue belly prawns, and fresh sea urchin, alongside the best local fish from Cornwall and Scotland. The butcher delivers top-notch cuts, while the deli, led by Head Chef Samuele Carelli, dishes up ready-made meals and little treats to brighten your day.
Inside the market, ASA Izakaya serves modern handrolls and sushi at lunch, with counter seating for 12 so you can watch the chefs work their magic. By night, it transforms into an intimate dining hideaway for up to 30 guests, serving intricate Japanese dishes, caviar, roe, and a curated sake menu. Head Chef Shaulan Steenson mixes Japanese flair with the finest British ingredients for a menu that’s as fresh as it is vibrant.
Salvador, the market’s second dining spot, fires up punchy European small plates from a wood-fired grill. Head Chef Haydn Payne highlights premium meats, fresh fish, and daily specials, paired with a carefully curated wine selection. Think beef tartar with barrel aged soy or pork pressa with nduja bean stew.
Arthur’s Market isn’t just a place to shop, it’s a place to discover, taste, and celebrate great food. Pop in at 279 King’s Rd, London SW3 5EW … your taste buds will thank you.
