TRI Design on the King’s Road: A Celebration of Craft, Colour and Contemporary Design

The King’s Road takes centre stage as part of TRI Design (12–15 March), London’s newest design festival spanning Knightsbridge, the King’s Road and Fulham Road.

With a programme rooted in craftsmanship, materiality and creativity, the King’s Road becomes a walkable trail of showroom experiences, open houses and hands-on workshops – bringing together interiors, fashion and floral design on one of London’s most iconic streets.

Live Conversation at Timothy Oulton Bluebird

13 March

Timothy Oulton Bluebird, 350 King’s Road, London SW3 5UU

Join Jude Leach, Managing Director of Timothy Oulton, in conversation with Bilen Zeremariam, Editor-in-Chief of OLISE Magazine, for an afternoon discussion exploring the craftsmanship, heritage and design philosophy that define the Timothy Oulton brand.

Taking place at the Bluebird showroom on the King’s Road, the conversation offers insight into the creative thinking behind the brand’s distinctive aesthetic and its approach to materiality and storytelling within interiors.

Anine Bing: Styling Sessions and In-Store Experiences

Anine Bing, 8 Symons Street, SW3 2TJ

Anine Bing brings a fashion perspective to TRI Design with personal styling sessions and in-store experiences throughout the festival.

Visitors can book styling consultations, enjoy champagne on request and access exclusive gifting offers during the week. On 14 March (2-6pm), personalised embroidery will be available on purchased clothing items.

Open House at Chelsea Old Town Hall

12-13 March

Chelsea Old Town Hall, King’s Road, SW3 5EE

Simone de Gale Architects opens the remodelled marriage rooms and reception areas at Chelsea Old Town Hall in collaboration with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea registrars.

Redesigned in 2024, the spaces balance heritage architecture with contemporary detailing. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the rooms and hear about the design approach behind the transformation.

Designers Guild Showroom Experience

12-14 March

Designers Guild, 267–277 King’s Road, SW3 5EN

Designers Guild welcomes visitors to explore its collections of fabrics, wallpapers and interior pieces during TRI Design.

Resident florist Juliet Glaves will present home-grown flower posies ahead of Mother’s Day, and appointments can be arranged with the in-house design team.

Drop in from 11am. Design consultations available by appointment.

 

Nurturing Nature: A Gift for Mum

14 March

Lavender Green, 239 King’s Road, SW3 5EJ

Lavender Green hosts a complimentary potting activity for children ahead of Mother’s Day. Young visitors are invited to pot their own hyacinth bulb – creating a living gift to take home.

Available throughout the day while stocks last.

LEMA UK’s Reimagined Showroom

12-15 March

LEMA, 183 King’s Road, SW3 5EB

LEMA UK opens the doors to its newly reimagined King’s Road showroom. Conceived as a home rather than a traditional retail space, the redesign presents connected interiors reflecting the brand’s “Feel at Home” philosophy.

Guests can explore wardrobes, modular systems and upholstered collections while speaking directly with the LEMA UK design team.

Peter Jones Architecture & Store Tour

12 March

Peter Jones, Sloane Square, SW1W 8EL

Discover the history and heritage of the iconic Grade II-listed Peter Jones department store, designed by William Crabtree for John Spedan Lewis. The tour offers a rare look at one of Chelsea’s most recognisable retail landmarks.

Tours take place at 11am and 2.30pm. Tickets are £10, redeemable against any purchase on the day.

Contemporary Italian Design at Poliform

12-14 March

Poliform, King’s Road, SW3 5AW

Poliform invites visitors into its King’s Road showroom for an immersive look at contemporary Italian design. More than a display space, the showroom presents cohesive interiors where every element works in harmony.

Visitors can explore new introductions including the Joan sofa and Ernest collection, alongside modular systems and refined living concepts. The Poliform team will be on hand throughout the day to share insight into materials, design thinking and the brand’s approach to spatial flow.

STEPEVI Presents Foliage

12-13 March

STEPEVI, 274 King’s Road, SW3 5AW

STEPEVI unveils Foliage, a new rug collection inspired by the organic geometry of leaves. Presented within a specially conceived installation by Milanese architect Carolina Nisivoccia, the showroom becomes an immersive environment exploring material, pattern and spatial rhythm.

Visitors can experience the collection up close and gain insight into the craftsmanship behind the designs.

A Weekend of Design Inspiration at Tom Howley

12-15 March

Tom Howley, 72 Fulham Road, SW3 6HH

Located on Fulham Road in the heart of Chelsea, the Tom Howley showroom showcases bespoke kitchens and living spaces designed for modern family life. Known for timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship and thoughtful detailing, the showroom offers visitors the opportunity to explore elegant cabinetry, clever storage solutions and refined interiors up close.

As part of TRI Design, Tom Howley will host a series of relaxed, design-led activities across the four-day festival.

 

12 March – Dried Flower Workshop with Botanical Tales

12:30pm-2:30pm

A hands-on workshop creating dried floral arrangements to take home. Pre-booking is required as spaces are limited.

 

13 March – Interior Design Workshop with Juliette Byrne Interiors

10:30am-12:30pm

A senior designer from Juliette Byrne Interiors will host an interactive session offering expert guidance for those planning a renovation or interior refresh. Pre-booking is required as spaces are limited.

 

14 + 15 March – Dried Floral Gifts for Visitors

To celebrate Mother’s Day weekend, visitors to the showroom will receive a dried flower posy to take away, while stocks last. No booking required, just drop in during showroom opening hours.
