As we welcome another bank holiday with open arms, we’ve rounded up a few exciting highlights on and around the King’s Road…
The Cadogan Arms
The Cadogan Arms will be offering Sunday roasts on both Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd. Enjoy longhorn beef rump, served with bone marrow sauce and horseradish cream or the shoulder of lamb and herb fed chicken. We think these are perfectly accompanied by a cocktail – why not try the ‘Lemon Verbena Paloma’ tequila, lemon verbena, pink salt and grapefruit soda? Can’t get enough of the Cadogan Arms? Be sure to check out The Cadogan Arms Afternoon of Wine here for those post bank holiday blues.

The Pheasantry
Kick off the bank holiday weekend with Earl Okin. The legendary jazz singer and songwriter will be putting on a show at The Pheasantry, at the ripe age of 75. The show will focus on Okin’s love of great past songwriters of the Great American and Brazilian Songbooks. As well as the fabulous music, you’ll be entertained by his unique brand of humour. Tickets are £15 and booking is required, don’t miss out.

Bluebird
Make the most of school-night-free Sunday at Bluebird. From 8pm, join Bluebird for a late-night party joined by percussionist, Tello Morgado and DJ Tony Piscitelli in the upstairs bar. As the sun appears to be shining this weekend, start the night early and secure a spot on Bluebird’s sun-trap terrace with a cocktail or two. ‘Follow the Petals’ with Sauvelle Vodka, rose syrup, jasmine tea syrup and fresh egg white is the perfect summer tipple.
